This school year we are asking again for support and participation from our parents...we've found that this is a great secret to successful catechesis--parental involvement.
There will be six parents' sessions required for parents of children making First Confessions and First Eucharist. They will take place during class time, and anyone interested in participating may join these parents on the days indicated on our calendar.
In September, parents of 8th grade Confirmation candidates will join their children for two or more sessions to prepare together for the Reception of Confirmation. Parents of our private school candidates will have their meetings in January when the private school sessions start
And we ask all our parents to sit in on at least one session of PSR with their child. This is a replacement for the Open House of years past. Each family will receive a visitation schedule for grades of their children. If the day for which you have been scheduled is inconvenient for you, you may trade with another family on the list.
