This school year we are asking again for support and participation from our parents...we've found that this is a great secret to successful catechesis--parental involvement.
There will be parents' sessions required for parents of children making First Confessions and receiving First Eucharist. They will take place during class time.
In September, parents of 8th grade Confirmation candidates will join their children for a session to prepare together for the Reception of Confirmation. Parents of our private school candidates will have their meetings in January when the private school sessions start.
And, we ask all our parents to sit in on at least one session of PSR with their child. Each family will receive a visitation schedule for grades of their children. If the day for which you have been scheduled is inconvenient for you, you may trade with another family on the list.
